About Us
Moore Construction Inc. is a merit shop, industrial contractor that specializes in industrial buildings. We are the premier industrial building contractor in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, as we do not work on building-related projects in commercial, municipal or residential applications. We work strictly in industrial facilities including chemical plants, refineries, pulp & paper mills and industrial cargo handling and storage terminals. We have been constructing and renovating all types of buildings in the industrial sector for over 25 years. We have submitted competitive proposals for industrial building projects, but we will also negotiate a design-build project specific to the client’s needs. Examples of buildings we have constructed are: blast-resistant, pressurized, administration and control/operations buildings; switchgear, motor control and laboratory buildings; guard houses, safe havens, bathroom and shower facilities; and warehouse and storage facilities. Services we offer are new construction, renovations, design-build and maintenance. We are a full-service general building contractor for all types of interior work, such as metal studs, walls & partitions, drywall, computer flooring, laminated flooring, cabinetry, ceiling grid and tile installation. We also perform exterior work, including, but not limited to; demolition, carpentry, masonry, painting, bulkheads, stucco and roofing.
Safety
Moore Construction Inc. (Moore) is dedicated to a safe working environment and maintains an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) 1.0 or below, the most widely accepted standard for working within industrial facilities. Moore’s excellent safety program has high expectations; “ A goal of “0” incidents each year”. And Steve Moore, Moore’s President is where the positive attitude toward safety begins. He says “Safety is first and foremost in our company. I want every employee and subcontractor to return home to his family and love ones whole, safe and sound after every day at work”. The results are positive as Moore has maintained a Total Recordable Incident Rate of “0” for the last 3 years. All of Moore’s employees have Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) cards and maintain current Occupation Safety and Health Adiminstration (OSHA) training with back-up documentation and identification cards, which are required in most industrial facilities. Also, Moore carries required insurance necessary to meet standard criteria for owners in the industrial sector.
